Elite Residency is a hotel, and its hotel booking website has a simple commercial goal: win more direct bookings, rather than paying commission on every guest who books through a third-party travel site.

Why direct booking matters for hotels

Online travel agencies are useful for visibility, but every booking through them costs a commission. A hotel website that makes booking easy recovers part of that margin and builds a direct relationship with guests. That made the booking system the centrepiece of this project.

The online booking system

Guests check availability and reserve a room without leaving the hotel's own website. The booking flow is short and clear, so a guest who has already decided on Elite Residency doesn't abandon the process and fall back to an OTA.
